I'm a goddamn marvel of modern science.
So basically: R.P. McMurphy thinks he can get out of prison duties by posing to be insane. His plan backfires when he is sent to the state asylum. Once there, he befriends the inmates and leads them in a rebellion against the tyrannical Nurse Ratched.
This story is very character driven. The first time I saw it I couldn’t sum it up to anyone who asked, I just knew it was a fantastic movie. Jack Nicholson rly does have the crazy guy down and so this role was practically made for him. And he defs does not overshadow the other actors’ performances, which were all brilliant, by the way. It’s what makes this film so good.
Yeah, this film deserves to be on the list.

I found this movie slightly slow and was bored at times...Its one of those movies that I found to be over-rated...
