It's not a monster movie. It's a supernatural thriller.
So basically: Two years after his death, Edward D Wood, Jr was named The Worst Director of All Time. This movie chronicles his life from when he started out in theatre with a small cast/crew to his third picture, Plan 9 From Outer Space.
Ah! Why must you subject me to these awful movies, IMDb list? Ed Wood himself is not a bad choice to make a movie about - come on, he's pretty awesome. But Johnny Depp, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Tim Burton all together? Making this redonkulous movie? Terrible. Patricia Arquette was awesome as Kathy O'Hara, tho, yey her. And Juliet Landau - who I loved as Drusilla, from Buffy - Vincent D'Onofrio - GOMER PYLE, PEOPLE! - and Bill Murray were a nice touch But all together, I did not like this film. I blame Tim Burton. That is all.
No, no, no, no! This should be on the list at all. Fans of Tim Burton and the like will like this, but it's defs not a best movie.

This is an amazing movie, it’s a great tribute to a failed director. How you can find this movie terrible is beyond me, it’s brilliant.
