Cool Hand Luke (1967)

Hell, he's a natural-born world-shaker.
So basically: Luke gets picked up by the cops one night for cutting heads off of parking metres. The reason he was doing that was because he wanted to pass the time. That's his reason why he does most of the things he does. He's sent to a rural prison to do work on a chain-gang. While there, he gains the respect of the inmates and the name Cool Hand Luke as he continually escapes.

This movie is a classic, especially the fifty eggs scene. But, that doesn't make it a great movie. It's enjoyable enough and has a few laughs. Paul Newman is perfect for the role of Luke and performs brilliantly - as per usual. However, I wouldn't go about recommending this movie to people. It's good once, but not something to rewatch. The story was just alright.

Just because it's a classic, doesn't mean it deserves to be on the list.
