It's against my programming to impersonate a deity.
So basically: If you don't know what Star Wars is, then your rock is bigger than the Death Star and you must go out and buy/rent/steal/pirate these movies immediately (stay away from Eps I, II, III, tho. I know it seems like they'd come first, but really they were just a joke by George Lucas). This is the one with the Ewoks.
Honestly, tho, the Star Wars trilogy is probably one of the best sets of movies out there. George Lucas has created a world that is vibrant, colourful, and full of interesting characters and planets. It's not hardcore sci-fi, as it relies more on the plot and interaction of the characters to create a brilliant film. Definitely watch all three original movies, in order, to gain the full experience.
This movie, along with its predecessors, totes deserves to be on the list.
