Last night, Darth Vader came down from planet Vulcan and told me that if I didn't take Lorraine out that he'd melt my brain.
So basically: Marty McFly is an average '80s teenager. He has a girlfriend, two siblings, "loving" parents, and a wacky scientist friend, Doc. One night, Doc tells Marty to meet him at the mall parking lot in the middle of the night. When he gets there, he finds out that Doc has made a time machine ... out of a DeLorean! After a group of Nigerian terrorists attack, Marty is sent back in time to 1955. Now, he must get back to the future with the help of a younger Doc.
Oh, Back to the Future. Where to even begin? I don't think there is a place. Despite all the cheesiness (and the fact that I don't agree with their time travel logic - time cannot be altered, in my mind) this is still one of the best movies ever. It's enjoyable, with lovable characters, and a plot full of adventure, romance, and mishaps!
Obvi this movie should be on the list.
